Workshops & Shows
Not So Fair Fairy Tales are more than a book. They create space for meeting, sharing and discovering yourself.
We create original theatre shows, author readings, discussions, workshops and other experiential programmes inspired by the themes of Not So Fair Fairy Tales. Our aim is to turn the fairy tales from something you read into something you live. To help (not only) highly sensitive people better notice and respect their needs, feelings and boundaries. To create a safe space for growing resilience, courage and discovering new possibilities. To support a creative approach to life and consciously taking responsibility for your own life.

AUTODI
Original theatre shows that bring to life stories inspired by the book Not So Fair Fairy Tales.
Every show is a one-of-a-kind meeting of theatre, storytelling and live experience.
The audience aren’t just onlookers – they can become part of a space we create together.

EXPODI
Experiential workshops for a smaller, closed group, inspired by the stories of Not So Fair Fairy Tales.
The workshops create space for active involvement, exploring topics through your own experience and finding new ways of seeing yourself and the world around you.
Every workshop is a unique meeting between a story and a group of participants.

We split our activities into two main categories, which often overlap and complement each other. In our activities we use elements of:
creative movement, dance and rhythm
theatre and music improvisation
storytelling
embodiment
physical poetry
immersive and interactive theatre
art therapy
author readings
body and voice work
reflection and sharing
AUTODI – Original theatre shows
Examples and topics:
Princess Pleaseall
A show about a princess who wanted to make everyone happy, and so, for everyone, she… Well, you’ll see! The performance encourages the audience not to try to make everyone happy, to set firm boundaries, and not to feel they have to cut themselves into pieces for others.

The Little Dough
A story from the kitchen about knowing how to decide and not being afraid to step forward. About not working against yourself, but with yourself. We link the story with career-guidance topics – (not only) for students.

The Comfy Couch (Dreams 1)
A performance with two players – a comfy soul who can’t be bothered with anything, and an enthusiast who wants to try everything. Who will win whom over?

Big Dreams of a Small Woman
A music and theatre story about a small woman with big dreams. Its main message: follow your dreams, even when the whole world is against you. We often pair it with a concert by the band Dobrá Otázka.

Poor Little Plant
A performance with one, two or even three actors. About the Poor Little Plant. How do you allow yourself to take up space, notice your own needs, set healthy boundaries and have the courage to grow your own way?
