Terms and Conditions
I. General provisions
These terms and conditions set out the rights and obligations between the seller and the buyer when shopping in the e-shop at www.velmispatnepohadky.cz.
Seller: Mgr. Marta Sýkorová, place of business Paseky 651, 763 11 Želechovice nad Dřevnicí, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO) 21802491, e-mail velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com, tel. +420 734 385 476. The seller is not a VAT payer.
By sending an order you confirm that you have read these terms and agree with them. This is an English translation for your convenience; the contract is concluded in Czech and the Czech version of the terms prevails.
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the Czech Civil Code and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.
II. Goods and prices
Each product shows a description, its main features and the price. Prices are final; the seller is not a VAT payer.
The shipping price depends on the chosen method and the country of delivery. You’ll see it in the cart before you send your order.
Hand-painted plant pot covers are originals. Small differences in colour and brushstrokes compared with the photos are not a defect.
III. Order and purchase contract
You send your order by clicking the button to complete the order with an obligation to pay. Before that, you can check and correct all the details.
We’ll confirm receipt of your order by email. The purchase contract is concluded when this confirmation is delivered.
Until you receive the confirmation, you can cancel the order by email or phone.
If a product shows a wrong price due to a technical error, no contract is concluded. We’ll get in touch, and the order only becomes valid once you confirm it at the correct price.
If we can’t meet a request in your order, we’ll send you an adjusted offer. The contract is then concluded only once you agree.
You pay your own internet or phone costs when ordering.
IV. Payment and delivery
You can pay:
– by bank transfer to account 3285031014/3030 (Air Bank), with your order number as the variable symbol; for payments from abroad IBAN CZ80 3030 0000 0032 8503 1014, BIC AIRACZPP,
– by card online via a payment gateway (the seller has no access to your card details),
– in cash on personal pickup in Olomouc.
A bank transfer is paid once the amount is credited to the account. We’ll send a reminder for an unpaid order after 7 days and may then cancel it.
We ship goods after receiving payment, usually within 7 working days. Personal pickup in Olomouc is free and by arrangement.
We’ll email you the receipt.
Discounts can’t be combined unless stated otherwise.
When you receive the parcel, check that the packaging isn’t damaged. Report any damage to the carrier straight away; you don’t have to accept a parcel with damaged packaging.
If the parcel has to be delivered again or differently because of you, you cover the extra costs.
You become the owner of the goods once you have paid for and received them. On receipt, the risk of damage also passes to you.
V. Withdrawal from the contract
You can return goods without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving them. With multiple deliveries, the period runs from receipt of the last one.
Send your withdrawal by email to velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com or by post to the seller’s address. You can use the form at the end of these terms.
Send the goods back within 14 days of withdrawing to Paseky 651, 763 11 Želechovice nad Dřevnicí, Czech Republic. You cover the cost of returning them.
We’ll refund your money within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the same method you paid with. We may hold the refund until the goods arrive or until you prove you have sent them.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we’ll refund shipping only up to the cheapest option offered.
Return the goods undamaged, unused and, if possible, in their original packaging. We may deduct any damage to the goods from the refunded amount.
You can’t withdraw from a contract for goods made to your wishes, such as a book with a personal dedication (Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code).
If you withdraw from the contract, return any gift included with the order together with the goods.
The seller may withdraw from the contract if the goods sell out or are unavailable. We’ll let you know straight away and refund all your money, including shipping, within 14 days.
VI. Complaints about defects
The goods must match their description, be free of defects and be fit for their usual purpose.
You can claim a defect within 24 months of receipt. If a defect appears within 1 year, it is presumed the goods were defective on receipt.
Send your claim to velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com, ideally with a photo. You can ask for a replacement, repair, a reasonable discount or, for a material defect, withdraw from the contract.
We’ll decide on your claim within 3 working days and settle it within 30 days at the latest. We’ll let you know the result by email.
You can’t claim a defect you knew about before receiving the goods, or one you caused yourself.
If your claim is justified, we’ll reimburse your reasonably incurred costs (e.g. postage).
VII. Communication and complaints
We communicate by email: you write to velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com, we write to the email in your order.
We handle complaints via velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com.
Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is provided by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, adr.coi.cz.
The seller sells on the basis of a trade licence. Supervision is carried out by the Trade Licensing Office and the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
VIII. Personal data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy on this website.
IX. Final provisions
Relationships with an international element are governed by Czech law, unless this conflicts with consumer rights.
The seller is not bound by any codes of conduct.
The texts, illustrations, photos and other content of the website belong to the seller. Please don’t copy or share them without permission.
If you send us a photo of goods you bought, we may share it on the project’s social media.
We archive purchase contracts electronically; they are not publicly accessible.
We may change these terms. A new version doesn’t apply to orders placed earlier.
These terms and conditions take effect on 1 November 2026.
Withdrawal from the Contract and Returns
You can return goods without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving them. Just write to us at velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com (you can use the form below) and send the goods back to Paseky 651, 763 11 Želechovice nad Dřevnicí, Czech Republic. Please don’t send them cash on delivery. You cover the cost of returning them.
We’ll refund your money within 14 days of your notice, using the same method you paid with. We may hold the refund until the goods arrive back with us. The goods should be undamaged and unused.
A book with a personal dedication can’t be returned, because it was made to your wishes.

What data and why
Orders: name, address, email, phone and payment details. We need them to send you the goods and issue a receipt. We keep them for as long as the law requires (accounting records 10 years).
Newsletter: name and email, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Carriers and payments: we pass the data needed for delivery and payment to Zásilkovna (Packeta) and the payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal). The website runs on the Wix platform.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing or object to it. Just write to velmispatnepohadky@gmail.com. You can file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
